Women’s AND children’s health research

If your research is primarily related to women’s and children’s health, it’s important to recognize WCHRI, the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and the Lois Hole Hospital for Women for their generous support.

Wording for publications

  • If you’ve received a WCHRI operating grant: “This research has been funded by the generosity of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation and supporters of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women through the Women and Children's Health Research Institute.” 

  • If you’ve received a WCHRI contribution to salary through a training program: “This WCHRI [summer studentship, graduate studentship or postdoctoral fellowship award] has been funded by the generosity of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation and supporters of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women through the Women and Children's Health Research Institute.”
  • If you’ve been subsidized by WCHRI’s research services“This research has been facilitated by the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute through the generosity of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation and supporters of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women.”

Instructions for logo use

  • Download and save a master copy of the logo you need. Click on it and "Save as."
  • Insert or copy and paste the logo where you need it to go.
  • Ensure that the minimum logo size is at least one inch in width.
  • Logos that appear on a coloured or dark background must appear in white. (If you require this, please contact WCHRI communications at wccomm@ualberta.ca.)
  • Display or use of WCHRI's logo must be approved by WCHRI's communications team.
