Research champions for children
In life, there are all kinds of stars. Hockey. Football. TV. But few stand out more than the seven star researchers chosen to be Distinguished Researchers within the Stollery Science Lab.
This innovative child health research program is made possible thanks to a $5 million donation over five years from the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation. The program has been created by the Foundation, the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute and the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
These children’s health researchers are experts in their fields and are ready to take their projects to the next level. They are all passionate scientists, confident communicators and eager ambassadors. The seven were chosen from among 34 applicants, whose proposals were reviewed by our partners, families and patients.
