Take a look at some of the resources created by our members below, to help patients make informed decisions about their health.

  • Emergency Department Visit Guide –  This pamphlet can be given to families of children being seen at the emergency department for an acute mental health problem and communicates what families can expect during their hospital stay and afterward. This resource was developed by Bruce Wright and members of the CRISP grant discharge team.
  • Gluten-Free Food Guide for Children & Youth – The gluten-free food guide consists of a gluten-free plate specifically developed to address the nutritional considerations of the GFD for children. The guide was developed by the CONQUER research team.
  • Emergency cesarean section risk prediction calculator – This tool predicts the risk of an emergency cesarean section outcome for low-risk pregnancies. The model was developed using data from the CHILD cohort study, the largest longitudinal birth cohort in Canada.
  • Child health resources for families and caregivers – A variety of resources designed to provide evidence-based health information to parents and caregivers on the symptoms of common childhood conditions, how to manage them at home, and when to get help.  A team effort by: Translating Evidence in Child Health to Enhance Outcomes (ECHO Research) and Alberta Research Centre for Health Evidence (ARCHE).
