Team-Based Research Development Fund
WCHRI is partnering with the Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute (ACHRI) to support the development of Alberta-led research teams focused on maternal-child health.
Funds are intended to support the development of teams to apply for large-scale national/ international competitive funding (e.g. CIHR team grants, training grants, network grants; New Frontiers in Research, Genome Canada). Consideration will also be given to teams applying for large provincial funding opportunities, such as PRIHS.
Team composition should reflect the competitive funding opportunity requirements and must be co-led by investigators from both ACHRI and WCHRI (i.e. nominated principal investigator from one institute, principal investigator from alternate institutes).
This program is open to applications throughout the year, depending on funding availability. Funds available range from $5,000-20,000 and will be awarded based on project need and complexity/value of the external opportunity.
