WCHRI is collaborating with the Healthy Infants and Children’s Clinical Research Program (HICCUP) to develop a registry of healthy children and families in Alberta who are willing to take part in pediatric health studies.

Information for researchers

HICCUP aims to improve efficiencies while reducing costs, allowing researchers to be more productive and focused on the problems they are targeting.

In order to request access to a participant list from the HICCUP database, you must be the principal investigator of an ethically approved, scientifically-reviewed clinical research study in need of child or parent subjects to serve as population samples or healthy controls.

Contact HICCUP for more information.

Be the Cure

Be the Cure is a website that allows Albertans to browse and search health research studies that are actively recruiting human participants.

This is an opportunity to promote your study to those interested in participating in health research. If you are interested in participating in research, you can also find an appropriate study.
