Tehseen Ladha


Dr. Tehseen Ladha is an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics and has a Master of Public Health with a focus on health equity and social determinants of health. She is on the Steering Committee for the Community University Partnership of the Study of Children, Youth and Families (CUP) and is director of strategy, research and evaluation for the New Canadians Health Centre (Edmonton). She uses primarily qualitative and community-based participatory methods in her research and is informed by the lived experience of marginalized child populations including immigrants, refugees and children living in poverty. She is particularly interested in research that leads to advocacy measures or policy impact in child and youth populations.
