Knowledge synthesis (ARCHE)

Gain access to knowledge synthesis resources and expertise

Knowledge synthesis is defined by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) as “the contextualization and integration of research findings of individual research studies within the larger body of knowledge on the topic.” Knowledge synthesis takes different forms including systematic reviews, meta-analyses, overviews of reviews, and rapid reviews.

To help our members access knowledge synthesis expertise, WCHRI offers this service with Alberta Research Centre for Health Evidence (ARCHE).

Services available

  • Knowledge synthesis consultation and implementation services on a cost recovery basis.
  • In-kind grant development support (case-by-case basis, please complete the research support request form to determine eligibility).

Knowledge synthesis support is also available to all Alberta researchers through the Alberta SPOR SUPPORT Unit (AbSPORU) Knowledge Translation Platform.
