This session is part of the newly developed WCHRI Lunch and Learn theme for the year with sessions related to community and patient engagement titled: Engaging social actors in health research. This WCHRI Lunch and Learn workshop series will introduce to our members a number of research projects that have effectively engaged different social actors (patients, community organizations, community members, clinicians, decision/policy makers) as active partners in research.
The workshops in this series are interactive, with two primary aims: 1) to discuss the process of working together with different social actors in health research and 2) to present the outcomes of such a research approach.
