Although antimicrobials are commonly prescribed to neonates, there are no widely accepted guidelines. Inappropriate use can lead to a variety of problems. 

Join guest speaker Joseph Ting, clinical associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of British Columbia, as he reviews controversies concerning the management of neonatal sepsis and the consequences of antimicrobial overuse and provides insights into the development of antimicrobial stewardship programs.
