Child Health and Wellness Seminar: Canadian Mother-Child Cohort (CAMCCO)

Join the Alberta Children’s Hospital Research Institute, in partnership with WCHRI, for a seminar on harnessing the power of provincial administrative databases in order to improve medication utilization safety in pregnancy. Hosted by WCHRI executive director Sandra Davidge, the seminar will feature WCHRI member Padma Kaul, CIHR Chair in Sex and Gender Science, Heart & Stroke Foundation Chair in Cardiovascular Research and Co-Director and Canadian VIGOUR Centre & Professor, University of Alberta.
Kaul will discuss how pregnant women are often not included in most studies to determine the safety of prescription drugs, so the safety of new medication in pregnancy remains unknown.
