Every day, I’m amazed by the work we do at the Women and Children’s Health Research Institute.
Through the tireless commitment of our team, WCHRI supports over 500 renowned researchers committed to women’s and/or children’s health. This commitment grows from a shared belief in our operating principles and strategic plan. As well, we continue to focus on our three key theme areas to guide our efforts:
- Children's health and well-being
- Pregnancy and developmental trajectories
- Lifelong women's health
Of course, this couldn’t happen without the support of our partners at the University of Alberta, Alberta Health Services, Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation. Their continued support has allowed us to truly “harness the power of research” for a healthier future for women and children.
Whether you’re looking to become a member, learn more about our services, or just interested in research, we’ve designed our website to answer any questions you have in the most accessible way possible. If you still have questions that aren’t answered in these links, reach out to us.
I hope you find the information valuable and learn more about the excellent research in women and children’s health taking place right here in Alberta!
