Important update to WCHRI acknowledgement process

Wednesday, January 18, 2017

On June 22, WCHRI was proud to announce that our funding agreement with the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation has been renewed for another ten years. The terms of this agreement are indicated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed by all partners involved, including Alberta Health Services and the University of Alberta.

In accordance with the MoU, our requirements for funder acknowledgement on communications materials related to WCHRI support have been revised. This includes publications, posters, signage, press releases and other external communications that relate to WCHRI support.

If you, or your student(s), received a grant or other research supports from WCHRI, appropriate acknowledgement is a requirement of the funding. Note that use of the Foundation logos is now part of the required acknowledgment. The appropriate acknowledgement (and logos) can be found on our Acknowledgements and Logos webpage.

For further information on acknowledging WCHRI and our Foundations, please refer to your Offer of Award, contact WCHRI’s Communications Associate, or visit our Acknowledgements and Logos webpage.

It is because of our Foundations’ support that WCHRI is able to continue to support research excellence in women’s and children’s health.
