Connecting Through Research: "Adverse birth outcomes and industrial emissions: Interdisciplinary research on children’s health and the environment"
Dr. Alvaro Osornio-Vargas and his team will present their experience building an interdisciplinary team that studies the impact of chemical, social and maternal factors on adverse birth outcomes. Their research includes traditional epidemiological approaches, data mining, toxicology as well as the evaluation of their collaborative process.
